Negativity is now okay?

Payero is missed though, because he was still there to be used when crooks gets his yellow card ban , a one year older howson gets a knock etc.

Despite the manager not rating him he would be choice number 5 for 3 positions. He would absolutely get more game time and absolutely be better than under 23s
.insane decision that he wasn't kept until players came in.

Exactly what I said earlier. This is a RaRa board who won’t hear anything other than how perfect the club is and how well we’re eventually going to do.
Actually it got more trolls than RaRas, and the trolls usually come out at times like this when everyone is a bit down and they spew their ***** on to the board , if they ever compliment it to set up the knock down when things go south again.

Individual components can be wonderful, but do not guarantee a functioning unit.

We wont go down but I don’t see us finishing top 6 either. The proof is where we end up, not who we have replaced on a like for like basis. I prefer to win 1-0 than lose 3-2.

I never spoke well of Mowatt for the record and selling Tav was footballing suicide if you do not use the funds to make a statement. Marquee signings my @rse. I think last years team functioned as a team better than this, so far, even with Connolly.
I'm not so sure, we had some dreadful performances as the season went on. And that was with the Messiah still in the team. Time will tell.

Madness on loan as well

So we lose a key player and get no financial benefit either

Our last 7 games of last season we got 7 points, our first 7 of this we have got 6. Our starting lineup being marginally better than last season only means we still won't be good enough this season because we weren't good enough last season. We needed to be significantly better than last season. We had £22m to do it and we've spent £2.5m on a starting LCB and £6m on some strikers that will be sat on the bench. We've got £14m plus all the extra we made last season from Derby, the cup games and all the extra session ticket sales this season. Cash in the bank doesn't get you any points.

Tav is gone, let it go, every Boro fan saw how much he complained and whinged on the pitch, imagine what he would have been like having been refused a move to a premiership club on undoubtedly more money than he was on here.

And the debt?

If we needed his wages gone then I don't understand why we haven't sacrificed a development striker for a. Midfielder. Club have said expect signings repeatedly so don't think it's financial.

And if it is then we've made really poor decisions choosing players to put in u23s (hoppe) over a central midfielder we are desperate for. Surely you buy projects after your core is in place.
