Media hype IMO — moreover I don’t think we’ll have 100 percent vaccinated ever but once we get closer to autumn/winter we’ll see the vaccination statistics go up.

There’s a difference between anti vax and don’t want these new Covid vaccines though isn’t there - lots simply don’t want to risk taking a vaccine that’s on trial under an emergency license

It does seem like a high percentage mind you, but I suppose it means getting on for 25% of the population will get the vaccine and I'm guessing it will be something like 80%+ of democrats and a big majority of independents, so all told it must mean 70%+ will get the vaccine.

I know there are initiatives which allow people to refuse the vaccine if they want, but they have to go to the vaccination centre and complete some paperwork to opt out. Once there the majority think 'what the hell, I'm here now' and go ahead and get vaccinated anyway.

My son-in-law is FDNY and recently moved from Hells Kitchen firehouse to HazMat. At the firehouse he tells me that 75% of them were Republican and none were going to get the vaccine - this all because they are Trumpists.......

Why are people turning the vaccine into a political weapon?

Sad really.
