National League North

45 minutes of the season left, Spennymoor and South Shields vieing for the last two playoff places (with Boston Utd and Curzon Ashton).

At half time it was:

Curzon Ashton 75pts (drawing away 0-0 at Bishop's Stortford)
South Shields 74 pts (winning 2-0 at home v Southport)
Spennymoor 74 pts (winning 1-0 at home v King's Lynn Town)
Boston Utd 73 pts (drawing 0-0 away at Hereford)

but Boston scored early doors second half and now both north east clubs look like missing out. Nothing either can do, it all hinges on Bishop's Stortford and Hereford now.

Also, Blyth Spartans look to be slipping out of the league on the last day.

It's a crazy league that had 7 ex-league teams in it this season (including phoenix clubs). Kidderminster back in there again next season too.

I Went to the Hereford v Boston game today to meet a Boston supporting mate and to do a ground I've not been to before (no 325), Fantastic 2-0 win, so a cracking day out all round.

Shame Blyth got relegated, but I'd have taken that a few months ago if it meant Darlo staying up
