Me and my mate were called 'poofs' for washing our hands after going for a peeIn lots of ways the Bongo was underrated. I only went half a dozen times, but was different and I never saw any bother.

Good. ;)Same as me I think I passed through it once
A few jealous people on here who in reality aspire to live somewhere like Ingleby. ;)You have not been because it was renamed in the 2008 credit crunch “Ingelby Toy Town” to stand in solidarity with the closure of Toys R us. The Toytowners have sanctioned the Toys R Us at Teesside Park and have put a restrictive covenant to prevent anything happening to the site. Biggest not in my back yard movement since it was mooted that a Marks and Spencer simply food was going to replace the Beckfields.
In 2008 Ingleby Berwick was mooted as a name change.
It was the North of Boro accent. Joking.Me and my mate were called 'poofs' for washing our hands after going for a pee![]()
Can I whisper I thought I knew who you were, I was wrong. I thought you worked in the Midland Bank in the Boro.This. Except I only lived there for five years in the 60s.

Pretty sure it's not a real place, just some kind of in joke they have on the trains.
I know. He worked there in the mid 70's big Boro fan and moved to London. I don't know him but see him the North Stand and at away games.Heh! That could have been embarrassing.
Haven't been in years, but back when it was a Camerons house, it had hand-pulled Strongarm and opened early for those coming off shift (and those of us at the Poly who knew that). The Navvy, oh the shame.
West Stand :)I know. He worked there in the mid 70's big Boro fan and moved to London. I don't know him but see him the North Stand and at away games.
North or South Stand ...................... you can't watch a football match from behind the goal. ;)West Stand :)
You would have to be mad to start a fight in there. In lots of ways the Bongo was underrated. I only went half a dozen times, but was different and I never saw any bother.
I sat in the north stand for the opening game against Chelsea in 1995.North or South Stand ...................... you can't watch a football match from behind the goal. ;)
