Muniz

I thought Muniz was contingent on Fulham getting a new striker in? Until that happens then nothing happens
Yep, nothing has happened cause nothing has changed.
Only seen Fulham linked with one striker from Marseille who has interest from other clubs also.
Close to getting Justin Kluivert but he is a winger so don't think this will affect Muniz much.

Fulham seem to be chasing multiple low-cost targets, such as Kluivert jnr. When the music stops there might be a striker surplus to requirements, but I too would like to see some commitment to Chuba instead.

I disagree, Chuba looks like he has a point to prove - Muniz might not feel he has
Not saying that he will have the same attitude but I remember Braithwaite having a good August. When the transfer window shut he became less motivated and was rubbish until we could shift him in January. There is a reason that Akpom has scored so few goals in his career and I'm so far not convinced that a couple of good games is enough evidence to expect him to lead us to the PL this season.

To be fair to our Chuba, hes doing a good job for us right now, but history is his form is inconsistent.
Muniz, has a decent pedigree and a better investment for now and the coming seasons.
We will see.

We don't have only 2 loan spots left.

We effectively do.

Steffen and Giles are going to start every match they're fit for, Mowatt will start or be on the bench for most games.

You can have 5 in a matchday squad.

I can't see the club spending the money on a 6th loan signing when it means there's a player that's guaranteed to not make the squad if they're all fit.

Would we want to tie one of our last remaining 2 loan spots on this guy, is he a guaranteed starter?

I can't see why not.

We've already got 3 players that you'd expect to be starting on loan, we don't need half of the starting 11 to be loans.

Spending money on Forss and Hoppe and then bringing in a striker on loan ahead of them in the pecking order would seem dafter to me.

Different circumstances, Braithwaite wanted out, Akpom was told to get lost and has still played pretty well

Just watched a highlight video of Muniz, first minute was of him dancing then missing two chances before I seen him score a goal. Do like the idea of a Brazilian striker though, hope he comes and smashes it 🇧🇷
