Yep, he looks like the perfect replacement for Archer.

We don't look to have a good enough 10 in the group currently so I would change to 4 3 3 and add Barlaser into midfield at the expense of Rogers. Hopefully this will give us a bit more control in the middle as currently teams are walking through us.
 
He’s been a positive. Think he will certainly score enough for us. It’s just whether we can keep them out the other end that’s the problem.

He's been the only positive so far this season , however I,m very concerned by how poor we look in every other department .

Rogers has plenty of quality 9 chances created in the first 3 games and he showed some great touches in the first half yesterday, not his fault we can’t defend. He isn’t the problem. He isn’t the finished article, but he’s clearly got bags of talent and creativity. Fans always like to pick someone to unfairly dig out and he seems to be this seasons sacrificial lamb

I might be alone in this but I think most of the new signings look good buys. The problem for me has been a couple of important players off form, a couple injured or not match fit, and just new players needing to gel. We still haven't properly replaced the players we've lost but I think the new lads aren't bad signings.

If Rogers gets more than 4 goals all season I will be amazed.
I saw enough at York and he should be sent on loan somewhere to learn his trade.
He is not a striker.

I think we can afford to lose Rogers from the eleven for now and put an extra midfielder on. We will be more solid and hopefully it’s enough to get a first win vs QPR

But no one's saying he's a striker are they? He had to play there when we had no one else but that's not his position.
He's already proven that he can create chances though as an attacking midfielder.
 
I wouldn’t mind us trying Rogers a bit deeper where we could really use his physical attributes and ball control. I don’t think Barlaser would add much. He’s more of a straight swap for either Howson or Hackney than a plan B.

Would Dieng be in the top 6 goalies this season ? - i dont think so - Steffen was top 3 goalie last season, certainly better than the Burnley , Sheff Utd and Luton keepers.

Agreed.

Dieng looks a good replacement for steffen

VDB looks a very promising young player, looks better than Fry and Wood did at 19

Engel, Sharkey moments looks like he will take time to settle and adjust but he’s clearly got a good delivery like Giles did

Silvera, pacy but a bit naive, but he’ll learn and improve. liked him as a RW, keeping it simple and facing up against the full back and putting decent crosses in. Good squad player right now

Rogers, superb ball carrying and through balls, just needs to be more clinical with his finishing but it’ll come.

Latte Lath, looks a brilliant signing and great alternative to Archer.

Gilbert and Glover not seen enough to know yet
