Movie recommendations for lockdown

Recent (or rewatched)
John Wick 1,2,3 - outrageous body counts, but fun
The Crow - Brandon Lee was brilliant in this - a shame he passed as he looked promising
Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story By Martin Scorsese

Just watched crime after crime on Amazon. Really enjoyed it. Emotional roller coaster. I fell in love with the female Attorney one of the prettiest women I have ever set eyes on.

Not a movie as such, but a cracking documentary full of heart and darkness and weird and wonderful characters and twists. It really grabbed me and sucked me in. I was completely rooting for the main guy in the end.
The King of Kong

The John Wick series is great fun.
Try The Purge series too just so you can prevent yourself from tw@tting someone who invades your space in your weekly shop
Parasite if you haven't seen it too.

I would recommend three films by one of my favourite directors Sidney Lumet

12 angry men
Running on empty
Dog Day Afternoon

He directed loads of films right up to the age of 80, the vast majority of them hugely watchable. He's not a flashy director, his main strength being his ability to coax amazing performances from his actors. Henry Fonda, Quincy, River Phoenix, Judd Hersch, John Cazale and Pacino putting in some of their career best performances in the film's above.
