Excellent player but WTF 110 million, I remember the days when a million bought you a superstar like Trevor Francis or 4.5m bought you Juninho.

He's wanted by several big clubs which puts his price up because they are competing. Brighton themselves are in an excellent position so don't need to sell especially to a team that is a direct rival.

The whole player is worth X doesn't really make sense because fans view market value as an indicator of who is best but where someone appears on the who is best list and what their transfer fee is are very different things.
