Morsy cheating his team mates

He is slow to release the ball. Yes he does tend to pass the ball forward so he is an improvement on Clayton but he seems to always wait an extra second before releasing the pass. He might be better off playing in Howson’s position on Saturday if Howson is injured. We missed Tavernier’s energy in midfield today.
 
I think that’s the issue his “role” is being filled by some one else so he’s not happy or settled.

You are right, he would literally rather bring the ball to the player he is passing it to rather than just hit the early forward pass, so yeah while he does play forward, it’s a bit to slow for my liking and gives the opposition chance to re set. He’s a bit similar to Besic in that sense

Morsy and Saville were poor tonight but a lot of others were as well. Only Johnson came out with any credit.
Keeper should have done better as well.
 
I forgot he was playing until I heard his name in the second half. I like him though, and it's a bit harsh to single him out.

To me I think the whole squad look fatigued, just burnt out and we could do with a week between games for a reset. Clearly we aren't coping with the schedule, and it begs the question why aren't we using the fresh legs we have sitting on the bench gane after game.

Yeah I think we need to bring Wing in just for something different if Howson is out. Wing may have a stinker and it could prove to be a bad decision but I just think we need a change of personell. It’s gone a bit stale, if you don’t change it up when you are on a bad run then when do you?

If Wing and Roberts don’t get chances now, they never will.

Watmore.......Roberts......Johnson

I don't know what the answer is up front, but with what we have we need more attacking intent out of them. If Roberts doesn't start on Saturday then questions need to be asked.
