Surely this one playing is a different one that we had?
Other than the money, I can't see any other benefits we got from him playing here. He's an absolute superstar. Lucky he played for the Boro.
I agree with @BigAl76 that he's gone to be a very good player and he's certainly got the footballing world talking about him but I wouldn't have him down as a top Boro player. He only made 26 league appearances and I'm not sure how many of them were from the bench. He was head and shoulders our beat player at the time, however the blokes behind us thought he was gash s

You could see him improving here but the rate he's accelerated whilst at Villa is unbelievable. I would put it down to him being released by City and getting a wake up call. He's obviously got a point to prove and he's taken his chance with both hands and proving all his doubters wrong. Playing with better players also helps. He's improved markedly and a much better and effective player than he was at Boro. Is that because he is playing with better players or more confidence - probably a bit of both. A startling rise nonetheless.
Spot on, he was creating every game and the other players were missing themHe was head and shoulders our beat player at the time, however the blokes behind us thought he was gash s
Remember you saying you would take 4 mil at the timeI agree with @BigAl76 that he's gone to be a very good player and he's certainly got the footballing world talking about him but he won't down as a top Boro player. The best thing he did for us was finance our promotion push.
Edit: What I would add, maybe it is Kieran Scott who should get the praise and not Morgan.
I would have and I am sure many more would have agreed with me. Up until the last few months he was here, I couldn't see the player we are witnessing now.Remember you saying you would take 4 mil at the time
He's a creative talent not everything he tries comes off, even now for Villa but some of the stuff he can do not many players in world football can do. The power when dribbling is scary and he just shrugs defenders off him. When he's in full flow he's a joy to watch.@Diego this was my take and that of many others during the Millwall game and then at the end he pulls the ball out of knowhere and plays a quality pass to Forss. Below are posts from page 17 & 18 from the link below.

I remember the Millwall game that I've copied post from how frustrating Rogers was to watch. He continually made the wrong choice and no one could have argued if he had been taken off. He's a creative talent not everything he tries comes off, even now for Villa but some of the stuff he can do not many players in world football can do. Absolutely love watching him play.
