Yeah it'll be interesting. And with the mercedes race pace he could keep max honest. That's assuming Mercedes don't try and strategise to get more points for their no. 1 driver
 
with the exception of Leclerc, the top 10 all held position. I know it's difficult to overtake here but I can't remember it being that perfect on lap 1
 
Two commentators desperately trying to make the race seem interesting. Time to ditch Monaco from the calendar. The way things are going with the cars they won't fit on the track in a few years anyway.

I’d take Monaco over yet another tilke car park in Saudi any day.
 
It might be a spectacle if you're actually there but watching on the tv is tedious.

I've been to many Grand Prix but you'd never get me to this one.

The on screen graphics are actually showing a position gain for each driver based on Leclerc's pull-out 🤣
 
Monaco is stepped in history and f1 glory.

Yes it's an anachronism, twisty and too small for a modern f1 car. But it is intense for the drivers, apart from St devote and the tunnel/new chicane there are zero run offs. They are on the very edge of their limits all the time. As poor Charles found put yesterday you're always a mm away from disaster.
I agree with @zorro_mfc . It's much better than a sanitised , anodyne Herman Tilke "track". Oh no, I've over cooked it. Never mind I'll just drive on this brightly painted tarmac and just cracked on."

Anyone who's ever seen any Abu Dhabi grand prix can't complain about another race being boring.
