Where on Easterside did you live Holgate? I lived on Caversham Road until I was 12 in 1967 before moving to the top of Broadwell Road opposite the junction of Broadwell Road and Darnton Drive.
We moved from Hemligton in 82, but I remember “Sheila” being one, think she upgraded to a shop. I pushed my brother off the wall outside and he broke his nose.I remember the one that used to come round Hemlington in the 80's

That's the one I'm sure, we moved from boro around 83 but used to go back at least once a month to stop at my gran and grandads and I'm sure we used to go to the boogey van.Do you remember the boogey van? Was a blue van that used to sell sweets.
