A whopping 50% of those goals came in the last 12 months when he was tried in a new position.
Do you think our current best player (and his recent scoring exploits) leaving is not a major loss?

We won't need to replace all those goals if we conceded less. Get a proper left back and win 2-0 instead of 3-1

So can Rogers, Silvera, Gilbert, Latte Lath and one other average 14 goal contributions each? Who knows. Maybe we defend better as a team and don’t need to score as many. Scoring 4, 5 or 6 a game isn’t what gets you promoted. Scoring 2, 3, 2, 3 every game is better than scoring 4, 5, 5, 0Chuba 28 goals 2 assists
Archer 11 goals. 6 assists
Ramsey 5 goals. 1 assist
Giles. Nil goals. 11 assists
Watmore5 goals. 2 assist
We only had 11 different goal scorers last season.
2021/22 we had 16. 2022/21 we had 20.
Those 5 players you mentioned don't need to average 14 contributions between them if we distribute it more throughout the team.
We only had 1 goal from a defender last season too (Paddy) - Previous seasons we've had 4 or 5.

Undoubtedly we need to spread the goals around the team more and concede less.
Don’t disagree with any of that.
The big question is whether we’ve bought replacements in who are of sufficient quality to do that yet. Not having a go at the new lads (obviously) but they are all an unknown quantity at this level, and that’s a potential problem. Could argue that Chuba, Archer, Giles and to a lesser extent, Ramsey, had all proven themselves to be fairly adept at this level prior to joining. Don’t think the same can be said of the new signings (other than Dieng), yet.
I’ll not be judging them until mid way though the season but I do worry that people will be questioning them if they don’t produce the goods within the first few weeks, as they have big shoes to fill. Need to hit the ground running.
Promising signs so far, imo, with more players coming in, but removing such a large haul of goals and assists would hurt any team, especially when most of the replacements are untested and inexperienced at this level.
Archer had played 20 championship games for Preston before us. Ramsey had played 18 championship games for Norwich (and another 14 in league one) before us.
Morgan Rogers has 34 championship games (and another 25 in league one).
Edit: more cup games than them both put together too.

Yep, and both Archer (7goals, 1 assist) and Ramsey( 3 goals, 3 assists) had contributed to significantly more than Rogers (1 goal, 2 assists) in those fewer appearances. Granted, they were in better teams Than Blackpool.
Anyway, this is a discussion I’m out of now. I take your points and agree with what you say, but I think it’s a difficult argument you are trying to make, that such a large number of goals and assists being removed is not potentially a major issue.
