Everytime I see it happen I think of the reasons behind it, even if just for a moment.
 
Disgusting, I just wish it was surprising.

There is no good reason to boo a player taking the knee. Not one.

There were only 2000 fans there, simply inform them that no one present will be allowed to attend the stadium whilst capacity restrictions remain. If the next 2000 do the same, ban them too. Alternatively, and this would mean the EFL growing a spine so is unlikely, close the stadium for the next home match.

On a lesser concern the government are gonna love this aren’t they . There was even talk this week of allowing fans to stand at OT in not too distant future and even take your pint to your seat . They’ll now rub their hands and say “ bu**er off and don’t come back ,you cant be trusted “ . They gave us an inkling of leeway and the numpties blow it . Thanks Millwall !

Assuming that they have more than 2000 ST holders then those fans probably shouldn't be getting into the next game. Besides that you make a statement that failure to report racism will not be tolerated. You can just about guarantee that not a single fan present would be able to identify someone booing which is pretty unbelievable which when you watch and listen to the footage.

You can’t mandate people to report racism or prove that somebody deliberately didn’t report someone.....
 
Watching on tv with only crowd noise (not added atmosphere) there were no boos audible and plenty of applause afterwards at West Ham.
Am writing to the FSA to start the ball rolling on how we can respond as fans to this.
I am not saying all Millwall fans are racist and as a club they do fantastic work in the community but this deliberate action today needs challenging and it just underlines exactly why the players are taking the knee in the first place or why Britt says we need action, which Boro do in education. It has to be followed up and challenged.

The same movement that desecrated Churchill’s statue and burnt the flag at the centotaph .
Many millwall fans will have relatives that died in WW2.

you can be against discrimination and not like BLM.
This is the same organization that want to abolish the police remember.

Same as you can be for protecting the environment and hate extinction rebellion.

When is it going to stop?
Some people just want to go and watch a game of football , not have politics rammed down their throats.

There is huge difference between being non racist and being anti racist, it's good to see that some people are ready to speak up, condemn and challenge quite clearly what are wrong actions.

Those who are racist, you have no place to hide from me, those who are non racist, if you really want change for our fellow humans, please become anti racist.

We still have a long, long way to go sadly but things can change if we want it to.

And why, pray, don't YOU like the BLM movement or are you just trying to be controversial? Or you're just trying to tell us that booing people for taking the knee is acceptable?

And some people go to a game to demonstrate their dislike of certain races. You're ignored. Your post disgusts and offends me.

It just might stop when people who hold views like you really understand what goes on for black people and other ethnic minoritiy groups in this country, but I suspect it's is going to continue for quite a while.
 
I just don’t understand them, it’s the first time they have attended a game in months, what a great feeling that must be (I m jealous) and rather than just enjoy the day this is literally the first thing that they think to do! They are absolute morons but remember “they don’t care”, embarrassment they should be thrown out the league until their fans learn how to behave themselves. I wouldn’t normally wish it upon anyone but I literally wouldn’t blink if that club went under.

Does taking the knee confirm you as anti racist?

The whole thing of gesture politics just seems so childish and not solving anything. I fully back Britt's actions with us and support our players doing community work e.g. in schools instead.
