I didn't know about House either.

But psyche has a lot on online presence and that will be of interest to him.

I'm quite sure Cochrane will not want to drain his personal wealth keeping Psyche aflaot with massive overheads from the store at his age. Have a good online presence does not mean he makes enough to cover all overheads.

A good online presence, of interest to a Mike Ashley type, to me, would suggest sales much greater than those derived from physical sales from a single shop on linthorpe road, Middlesbrough. That’s all
 
The old Uptons building (Psyche) would be useful student accomodation. I would hope Psyche could have a decent new central site.
 
Hope the store remains and is maybe jazzed up, flannels move in, who knows. But it does seem ripe for redevelopment. Was talks of hotel and whatnot a few years back wasn’t there. Maybe we’ll see a revival of those plans
 
When Psyche first moved into the Uptons building I always thought that the old Tower House building would have been much better, closer to town and a far more ornate building but we had already flattened it to make way for a flatpack macDonalds.

They recently opened a Psyche up here in Durham, but unfortunately, due to Covid it closed in March and has never reopened.
 
Ashley gets a lot of stick but I wonder how the town would look if he didn’t invest in it .
The bhs would probably be left empty and not gutted and filled with 4 businesses .
