Final meeting of the season. Tuesday 13th May.
What points should we be discussing on the agenda, please and these will be presented both for supporters to discuss and also put to Middlesbrough Football Club?
Best to avoid matters on the field other than I can tell you they put garlic on the pitch yesterday and you could smell it as you opened the reception doors. Pungent.

We will meet again over the summer...

Will the club be producing long sleeve shirts next season? Most clubs do it now including Sunderland. I can’t recall the last time we produced long sleeve shirts. Probably 90s.

Thanks

Some of the recent Hummel kits were long sleeved, as were the early adidas kits under Mowbray. However, it would be nice to have them back, but at the moment, if the England cricket is anything to go by, Castore only seem to do the long sleeved in the ‘pro-version,’ £120 a pop!!!

Ref: Fee for Boro Membership Card

Can the fee be made refundable against the third match ticket purchase. This would encourage more sales on the card and so in effect pay for itself and give fans a bit better deal. I think the fee is £10 per season.

Please keep the physical cards for STs

The outside of the stadium needs a clean or red spray - what was white is now grey.

Seats could do with restoring back to original red too.

Improvements please to the Wifi signal too on the O2 network, so after 2.30pm the mobile data still works.

Braying head against brick wall....but here goes:

Loyalty start up points. There were mentions that these were going to be addressed....so far absolutely nothing has changed.

Unless you were born pre 1995....then it is impossible to start with maximum loyalty points.....which means a fan with a season ticket, consecutively, for the last 29 years still doesn't get credited with the maximum loyalty....at no fault of their own.

It's literally a closed shop, in which my children will never ever benefit from, unless something changes.

I fully expect f**k all to be said on the matter....and I fully expect nothing to change.

These meetings are clearly just a ticky box exercise with zero outcome/changes.

Riverside is in an 02 blackspot - or whatever it is called an area of low coverage. EE has a mast nearby. I had to switch from EE to 02 because my Middlesbrough house has absolutely no EE coverage at all , next street does. 02 is really particularly bad compared to EE at stadia around the country. I suppose the problem is with 02. Some people use a second sim etc.

I wonder whether you might see a few changes brought in to coincide with a significant date ;)

Don't Rob.

Don't fill me with hope here...
The club ran out of time during the season for a big fan consultation on this. So we can push this again.

As you can imagine there are a lot different opinions about loyalty points and gold cards etc. Very strong opinions. The message board doesn't necessarily reflect this fully.

I totally agree with you by the way and I think every one on the forum would agree also and probably most people at the club too. But in the past not all fans have felt the same way. They have made their feelings known.

Yep, I do understand why some fans don't like a loyalty scheme. As there is no loyalty scheme out there that benefits everyone.

And as the popular saying goes....if you try and please everyone, you'll please no one.

But at the moment, the scheme in place, with the start up points, is a completely closed shop. There's fans out there, that have been going for 20+ years, without a year off, and still don't start on 160pts.

Other than the start up points (which I think could be open to everyone being able to qualify for....whether it's for 5 years service, 10 years, etc), I do think the scheme is about as fair as it can be.

Loyalty schemes are stupid and should be scrapped. They are there to benefit a tiny, vocal minority of superfans who think they deserve to do their hobby 100% of the time like it's some kind of sacrifice and not something they want to do. Very entitled behaviour. All season ticket holders should have the same chance of getting a ticket for every single game.

*I'm not a season ticket holder so the loyalty scheme doesn't affect me in anyway so I can objectively see it for what it is.

So season tickets should take priority over everyone else just because they go to every home match?

Seems a bit elitist to me

Rob, can you ask about the installation for a few extra TVs in certain areas of the ground? I use the SW Upper corner, they have 2 TVs B2B in the middle of the concourse. They could have a few more mounted on the walls to change the density of people stood blocking the middle of the concourse where the food is and have to get past to get to the Bar.

TVs aren't that expensive nowadays for a 65'' and brackets. a few cables and a splitter.

So, you would label fans that support their club home and away "elitist" and "superfans." Don't you think that might be condescending and insulting?
