Middlesbrough recruit Head of Scouting from Crystal Palace.

Looking at Crystal Palace's recent transfer activity.. we have activity from USA, France, Germany & Belgium. Even some League One action from Derby.

If I was to look at the players with contracts expiring this summer from Crystal Palace.. my eyes would be drawn straight to Jeffrey Schlupp & Jordan Ayew (possible loan targets in January.

Jason Knight is out of contract in the summer at Derby County.. an offer may to be temping to resist in January. Earmarked as a replacement for some of our first choice targets this summer by other clubs. The management team will no doubt see the benefit of bringing in a young undervalued player as a long term option.

Maybe another look as Kai Wagner will be on the cards.. a match made in Keiron Scott/Chris Jones heaven?

As much as we have that alleged £10m burning a hole in our pockets, I can't see that being used in January. We're heading for a big summer rebuild again regardless of whether we finish midtable/playoffs/promotion. Two loans and a bargain is my prediction... will Wilder be there?

Bola not good enough as a CH for me , we need better there . Clarke looked to be the answer but has let standards slip since his 1st game .

McNair comes closer to the answer for me, on the left at least. Clarke gets turned on the reg.

Bola looked shaken at first but has since grown into that position.. not literally of course. He gets bullied by big boys for crosses.

I think Lenihan was a replacement for Bamba.. he offers more to the team as a captain. Dael Fry just doesn’t have that in him

Clarke looked class after his first game.. now I don’t see the advantage over McNair?!?
