Mid-Week Championship games

Ipswich now top - 10pts clear of Leeds in 3rd! Teams currently in 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th won tonight, if we win we go level on points with Hull - 2 goal win puts us above them....
 
Goes without saying, Ipswich are having an excellent season. As mentioned, 10 pts clear of Leeds in third and 18 in front of the last play-off spot. Certainly not going away anytime soon. Very effective footy team, without pulling up any trees.

Am still very worried:
we need to go on a three or four match unbeaten run to stay in the race, otherwise we will be very much bottom-half and a long way off.
Usually optimistic, just a bit concerned..... (y)

yeah we do need to find that consistency again. Let’s do the job tomorrow and build from there
 
Sunderland deserved a bigger win , there's only 1 good side Leicester , rest are very much of a muchness , thats the champo future sadly , parachute money rules
 
Big win for Sunderland. A lot of their fans are calling for Dodds to get the job full-time now.

6 points off the play-offs so we really need 3 points tomorrow so that we can keep up with the pace.

No one is taking them up , mogga saw it they develop & sell is the role model .....we do it too , but i think their owners are wanting jack clarke s money & hoping

Well they're in a play-off place as it stands and I reckon they'll be in with a good shout of making the play-offs this season, unless they get this next managerial appointment wrong.

Not sure whether appointing Dodds will be a wise move, don't think it's wise to appoint within the club.
 
Similar to last season for me. They're a good technical side who will have too much for lots of teams in this league but I question their mental strength when things get tricky.

It's a very young squad.

I think the injury situation is really hurting us now - and Coburn is apparently not playing because he has a hernia 😭 we’ve only won one game when he hasn’t started for us ……..

Huddersfield Away win Under 2.5 goals
Rotherham Away win goals could go either way
Stoke Home win Under 2.5 goals
Watford Away win Over 2.5 goals
Sunderland Away win Over 2.5 goals Yeaaahhhh
Cardiff Home win Under 2.5 goals
Coventry Away win Under 2.5 goals
Leicester Home Win Over 2.5 goals
Norwhich Home win Over 2.5 goals
QPR Away win Under 2.5 goals
Boro Home win Over 2.5 goals Double yeaahhhh

Take this with a pinch of salt, whilst the algorithm is accurate, it gets it wrong plenty often enough.

Over the 18k results I get about 62% success rate on win/loose/draw and 70% on over/unders.

The w/l/d breaks about even, the overs/unders makes about 40 points a season. You might argue that the effort I put into the application makes 40 points a season a poor return, but it improves over time as it is a machine learning algorithm, which I retrain every season.

It depends on what value you put on a point doesn't it.
