Mick Lynch says voters must grow up and see Starmer is the only alternative

No, I don't think he's right. It may be quite accurate at this point in time - with the lack of alternative parties to vote for - to say that Labour is the only alternative, but not Starmer. If for one reason or another Starmer was replaced before the next GE, it's pretty nailed on that Labour would still win. We are suffering at the moment from the worst, most useless and corrupt racist money grabbing government in our country's history and they would probably lose the next GE if the leader of HM's Opposition was Peter Griffin.

I do concede though that "grow up" would make a fantastic slogan for an election campaign and it should be on all the posters.

I am not keen on starmer either but am voting Labour or possibly lib drum. Whatever gives the best chance of ousting the tories. I wouldn't be dead against voting reform if that gives the best chance to rid the country of this government.

Absolutely no fan of Starmer - even less for the chief c*nts behind the scenes Akehurst, Mandelson etc - but I'll vote for my local Labour MP who does a good job for his constituents. Lucky I have this luxury in a solid Labour area (11k majority)

I'm a lifelong Lib Dem voter but in this case I simply have to vote for the party that will get the Tories out.

Me too mate. I fully believe that another tory term and we will lose the NHS and hundreds of thousands will die as the tories cut the social safety net to almost nothing.

That's going to pi$$ on a few people's chips lol.

He’s right for all the bluff and bluster about voting Green etc it’s going to be a 2 horse race and the only horse that stops sunak is starmer.

Anything else unless your in a Lib Dem marginal is a vote for the tories.

RMT leader Mick Lynch gives Jeremy Corbyn general election backing.

I too agree with Mick Lynch. If there is a credible alternative to the official labour candidate, someone who more closely represents the the needs of his members and of the majority of the country, endorse them instead.
