Michael Devine began playing football with Springfield FC in Cobh, County Cork, where he was capped at U15 & U16 levels, and thereafter signed for the Boro
Michael Devine spent four years at Ayresome Park, before he briefly moved on to Newcastle, without making a 1st team appearence & non-league Northallerton.
He returned to Ireland to link up with Cobh Wanderers & subsequently joined League of Ireland 1st division club Cobh Ramblers
