Suit Culture in Shildon was where I used for my wedding
Love the look of some of their stuff mate. The coats are incredible.First you need to decide if you;re going to go for made to measure, of bespoke (assuming you've discounted off the peg?)
If you dont mind a trip down to Hull and splashing out on bespoke then these guys have some good words said about them.

Obviously you have your traditional tailors in London on Saville Row, but you're talking £4k plus for something there.
What budget are you looking at ?
Oh look is the boards resident know nothing.Wouldn't go anywhere near a bespoke suit unless you're a fanatic. They just don't make sense unless you like throwing money away. The cost per wear amount will likely be ridiculous. They often give the impression of trying too hard as well. Especially these days, it was more of a thing a couple of decades ago. In general, I think it gives off an impression of being a bit of an idiot if you turn up as a guest with a ridiculously expensive suit on, as in thousands of £. What's the purpose of it?
Depending on your budget, turn up at a complex where they have various retailers and try on as many as possible. Likewise, you could order 10 suits online using a credit card and keep the one that has the best fit. You'll probably get some good value at this time of year with some of the designer offerings on sale. If a suit fits reasonably well, it's easy to get alterations made so it's near a perfect fit.
I haven't as I haven't bought formal clothes in years, but they get some really good reviews and have recently mopved to new premises so must be doing quite well.Love the look of some of their stuff mate. The coats are incredible.
Have you used these guys before?
You mean a little fat ferker! My last two suits have been from a chap in Guisley 13 oz charcoal £750; 9oz cashmere midnight £495 but my own cloth - so either bespoke or made to measure, please yourself
Brook Taverner are worth a look but mass tailoring - shop on Northallerton High Street.
If you are in or close to the tailoring industry the first two will shine out - you can tell
As we are coming upto New Year sales you could try the Jermyn Street brigade sales
If you are a funny size ie not conventional - bespoke/made to measure is always worth it
I would second this. I used to buy there shirts religiously. until I erm "fleshed out" and they stopped fitting. Good tailors thoughFor all of your formal items, this is a terrific site and one I can highly recommend:

Unusual can mean a lot more than little and fat. Out of proportion legs to body size - my legs got shotened by a hip replacement for example. You mean a little fat ferker!
You weren't the only one !I would second this. I used to buy there shirts religiously. until I erm "fleshed out" and they stopped fitting. Good tailors though
Moss Bros, Teesside ParkYou weren't the only one !
Be careful if you go posher as the waists tend to become a little less forgiving
I can no longer wear all my Turnbull and Asser nor my Hilditch and Key
I repeat Brook Taverner for mass tailoring. I'm not sure about Charlie for suits to be honest
