Am I the only one that finds these categories amusing? Who decides? What is the basis? Why are they necessary?

ive been on this board for at least 13 years. Certainly been very active at starting and contributing to lots of threads.
Perhaps I am a tad too controversial with my opinions and thoughts. Anyhow just a little idiosyncrasy to while away a Sunday afternoon!

I always thought it was just "decided" by the forum software based on posting history rather than Rob making judgements on people.

Those designations are automatically generated by the board software, based on your user activity. As @WeeGord alluded to above, only activity on this new site is relevant, not the old one.
