McNair in midfield

So we need two strikers, a left back, two wingers and a couple in centre midfield?! Gonna have to get busy Mr Bausor.
Not to mention a right back, 1 more centre half, and a goal keeper....

I haven't seen the match highlights, just the goals, but QPR are in an excellent run of form and until 31st August we're still going to be a work in progress due to the signings not being finalised and injuries still forcing us to play makeshift line-ups. People writing off McNair and Howson as being 'finished' are being very knee jerk. Three games in - 2 solid results, one defeat against a team that has been building momentum for some time.

Mcnair can't play in a 2 in the middle. Right side of a 3 maybe. He's much better at CH as he carries the ball from deep so we'll and pushes the team higher up the pitch. Halls lack of pace means we sit deeper.
Sometimes when Paddy plays at the back he can leave us exposed but the positives outweigh the negatives for me.

There was one occasion when they had a free kick and Warnock was telling Jones to come out to the wing. Jones pointed out there were unmarked players in the middle, but Warnock said he had to stay out wide. Bola then went and marked in the middle. Where were our central midfielders?

We looked better with Crooks playing deeper with Howson on Saturday. Although they were poorer opposition. McNair was hardly in the game against Bristol City and a non-entity last night. People calling for Morsy will not get someone much better. Tav playing where Crooks was and Crooks deeper might be our go to option.
I was thinking the same:

............Lumley
Dijk...Hall....Fry.....Bola
......Crooks.....Morsy
Spence....Tav......Jones
.............Ikpeazu

of course 3+ of those could end up replaced by incoming players or returning players

As much as that's true with Tav, you can't rely on him. How many games does he miss, especially with these niggly injuries?
Players can grow out of it, I remember Ripley always used to get hamstring and thigh strains. Then the physios got him working on strengthening certain muscles and doing daily stretching routines, and it just stopped and he was fit nearly all the time.

Yeah, that's true. It's frustrating because we clearly miss him and need him, as it showed at Fulham.
