Mcnair and Dijksteel

I think both could be off but not until the summer at least, no chance we lose both during the January transfer window, it would be stupid to make those decisions during the season.
 
Bola, dijksteel and mcnair should all move on, either this window or the summer. Add Fisher and daniels and a few of the fringe youngsters like sivi and Boyd-Munce who don’t look like making it at this level. Need to up the quality of the squad.
 
I think it is too early to make pronouncements about much. So far Carrick has had little reason to make too many changes - so the other squad members have not had much of a chance to get on.

The current backups (Dijksteel, McNair, Hoppe, Muniz, Bola, Mowatt) could all pick up their games under Carrick like others have. I think if McNair could refind his form he could play as part of the midfield 2.

But... if we identify younger/more dynamic players to come into the squad they would be the ones to make way.
 
Isn't Smith only on a season long deal?

He's doing well and if I was him I'd be warming my agent up.
 
Wouldn’t it be even better if Carrick and his coaching staff just kept Woody’s, Warnock’s and Wilder’s squad and then got us promoted— it surely would be a kick in the teeth for CW, but also a quite improbable and impressive achievement.
 
Don't see McNair or Dijksteel moving on unless they push for it. We only have 4 CBs and one of them (Clarke) may be struggling to return from injury. Dijksteel is currently injured and is one of just two of our right backs. While Dijksteel's injured, McNair is his only senior cover. Smith only has done OK but his contract is up in June.
