Maxine

I haven't seen this and don't want to.

I find it hard to understand how this is helpful to anyone? The parents of the murdered children or the titular "Maxine".
I agree to a large extent, the last thing they want is adverts popping on TV with her and Huntley being brought to life in front of them (i know they're not dead but you know what i mean). Same applies to any other murders where the family will still be alive (although people don't seem to worry so much if someone was a sexworker or gay man etc, although i'm not disputing murders of children are naturally more shocking). I'd also think it's not helpful in terms of Carr herself. Whether people agree or not she's out and has to function within society without the cost of having to be moved around.

I remember a car load of us travelling down to Southampton for an away game as this story was unfolding, might have been first game of season, I’m not sure, but it gave us all plenty to talk about on the way down. My two eldest girls were a similar age as Holly and Jessica back then - imagine letting your kids go out for some sweets an never seeing them again 😢 poor kids, lord knows what they must have gone through with that monster Huntley

I'm in the same camp as you. I haven't / won't be watching this.

I hadn't realised how close his house had been to the college.

The evil **** must have felt like he'd won the jackpot when he landed that job.
