Matt Crooks

While I think if we want to achieve anything Matt should be no better than a bench option. At present though as Paintolarance he is a better option than Silvera, Greenwood and atm Rodgers so it would be crazy to get rid of him. While he has always been limited he gives his all every game and makes up his lack of technical ability with work rate and ability to get on the end of things in and around the six yard box. He has almost a 1 in 4 goal ratio for us which is decent.

Surely it would make more sense to move on a big earner like McNair?

I don't think we'd raise much in the transfer market from either, which is what 'the model' is all about. Buy cheap, sell high.

He scores goals, we’ll get about 1-1.5m for him and 500k off the wage bill. Every little helps. If we don’t sell him in the summer his value reduces to zero as he’s in the last year of his contract. Now is probably his high value point.

He is ok, he’s an honest pro, but he’s not the future at all. There better out there, I’d have Roger’s in the side at 10 every single game ahead of him.

Silvera undoubtedly, about on a par with greenwood for me, good moments and wobbly ones. Roger’s is better for me, he has rough edges but this game time is imperative to his development
 
Be utterly ridiculous to get rid of a player like Crooks at the minute, for me when fit hes in the team ahead of azaz and he links up great
with Jones as well when both are in the XI

their window is open until April but going on the comments on MFC we have seen him for the last time unless he is at the ground saturday and travels afterwards
