The average salary at Boro will be just over £20k, but he is younger then the average. I would have thought he would have come for anything over £15k/week. Salaries are genrally lower than the Championship in Argentina hence all their international players play in Europe.

I refuse to believe that the average salary at Boro is over 1 million a year. Two reasons, first we surely couldn't afford that and second they aren't good enough to be on that.

I would have thought our average 1st team squad player would be half that surely.

Our wage bill last season was reported to be around 13.5mill, it will be less than that now, our average is certainly no where near £1million per first teamer It’s probably half that with a handful on 15-20
 
Our wages bill for the season 21-22 was £25million plus 3 million in National insurance. We had 82 playing staff and 143 non-playing staff. You can roughly figure out that around £20million of that £25million was the first team squad of around 25 players. Puts the average at around somewhere near £800,000 per year or £15-£16K/week. Consistent with the highest earners on around £25-30K/week.

The 82 playing staff will refer to all players at all levels.

Call me naive. However I don't think someone would sign for £5,000,000, move continent, then play for £15,000 a week. Of course he's on more
 
I'd argue that half of that is to much. I really hope that figure isn't remotely true.

3 managers ain't fancied him. Those figures suggest he maybe very hard to move on. A loan where the club picks up even half that would massively reduce any takers.

The fee could be anywhere between 3-6mil with add ons etc. Massive waste of money (so far). I doubt we'd get much more than 1-2mil back.
