Massive game for local football tomorrow at Mount Pleasant, the fact it sold out within a couple of hours despite clashing with a huge game for the Boro shows how far football at that level has come; the progress both clubs have made over the last decade is quite staggering and it's great that the area will have one club playing at Step 3 level in 22/23 and within 3 promotions of the football league.

I know a lot of fans started attending games when the Professional game went behind closed doors and I think that has had an impact on non league attendances as many have stuck at it, or alternate between the professional and semi-professional clubs, Marske for example will average 660 for all their home games this season which for a village of 8,000 is pretty good going.

Hope we have a good game and that everything goes off without incident, I know the opposition players and management teams have the utmost respect for each other and that non-league is traditionally a bastion of sporting, well behaved crowds but high stakes, too much alcohol can bring high emotions and over reactions. May the best team win and Teesside football showcases the best of itself.

Be a good day out for those going. Be some tasty games for the winners to look forward to in the NPL - South Shields, Morpeth, Scarborough (unless they win their playoff!), FC United etc

Got my tickets as an Anchors fan. Really looking forward to it. Started going to Stockton after giving up my Boro season ticket when Pulis was here. Reignited my passion for the game in a way, now I go whenever I can. Marske favourites but Stockton have a habit of pulling results out of the bag against them so we'll see what happens. Either way it's 2 clubs on the up and a great advert for Teesside football. Was in Manchester last week to watch Teesside Lions win the NBL Div 3 playoffs so fingers crossed Stockton get the win tomorrow then Boro complete the playoffs hattrick in May!

Yep, Stockton certainly seem to hold the Indian sign over Marske. Hopefully the Seasiders can turn that round tomorrow, as they certainly deserve promotion this season!
Let's just hope it's a great occasion and there's no chew.

I think Stockton are favourites personally and I say that as a Marske fan. We've been up and down since the cup runs, much like the Boro really.

Hopefully we can get revenge for the FA Vase defeat where we were playing 12 men that snowy day.

Whitby Town's radio commentary team will be providing live coverage of the game tomorrow. Available to listen to on Marske's twitter space. Turnstiles are open at 1:30pm.
