Mark Francois

To be fair it hasn't, but the belittling of anyone who does not follow the FMTTM intelligencia ( sorry did not go to University and without Spellcheck) is a constant on here
What about the point in question? Do you think Mark Francois was correct to hide behind an unelected bureaucrat to threaten Sir Nick Carter?

Sometimes people have different opinions and values and belittling those who don't share yours is not just wrong, but counter productive, which I think is the point you are making, is it not?

However, sometimes people's opinions are ill-informed or illogical or not thought through. Should it be given equal validity as a well considered, logical and informed view?

Yes it should. I have cousins who could not name a Labour shadow cabinet or anyone in the Tory party apart from Boris, they have no interest .

I know zero about Celebrities , I don't care.

All votes are equal

I am better off under the Tories, as is my brother, my sons, my elderly in-laws pretty much anyone on a decent salary.

I have had to use the NHS recently the treatment was superb.

I agree the poorest in society; those with mental issues, are worse off , that is why I vote Labour.

A question; who did more for the poor Blair or Corbyn?

Blair.

Also, are you better off under the Tories?

Votes, yes.

What about opinions?

As for Mark Francois I had never heard of him . He appears to be not to bright and a bully, and pretty lacking in any sort of policy.

Back to voting Tory and changing your mind.

The bit about Mark Francois is the first sensible thing you’ve said. Well done.
As for the second paragraph. You have a go at others for being staunchly labour on here and not changing and then you say that. Interesting.

I knew you’re not university educated, but do you know what the word hypocrite means?

This the view that all views no matter how illogical or idiotic are of equal value. Flat-earthers a valid point of view or loose conglomeration of idiots?

The whole ignoring of expert opinion and trusting to slogans like £350million on the side of a bus is how we got into the mess we are in. Giving equal credibility to serial liars like Trump and Johnson... Fantacists like Francois... Elitists like Rees-Mogg...

But Jeremy Corbyn.

Lefty we are on a site that is fundamentally of the left. It's easy to win on here.

We need to get Redcar back, quoting Marx, Hansard or that some Bloke 99% have never heard off is off track makes no sense.

We should be brutal, Boris disgusting behaviour to his wife, make the backhander from Desmond relevent i.e £50m would pay for X no of houses, show Lord of the Manors house and schools, stay well away from the chancellor until he drops a brick. Put Cummins on the front page in his dirty T shirt, basically get rid of the policy snobbery.

I agree.

However it is much more important that we start making better decisions, as voters and as Governments. This means, first of all, appreciating the process, where we have gone wrong and why, both the internal and external influences.

ST, my political stance or views have stayed the same since I first voted.

I have only ever voted labour apart from one local election when a mate if mine stood

My view is that Blair was far more successful than Corbyn.

Lefty I basically agree with you.

But a niece of mine is vital to our quiz team, she can name the Essex crew.

To win her over from Boris is what is needed. Policy has nothing to do with it. She has to be shown how disgusting he is.

The club I go in voted against Corbyn on mass because his perceived dislike of the UK and military.

Starmer has to back the next action no matter how wrong it appears, tell the police they are worthwhile.

Then when we win power do a Blair.

I worry about people who vote for a particular party just for the sake of it. It just shows a lack of engagement being unable or unwilling to alter ones views according to changing circumstances.

You mean disgusting in his personal life on how he has treated his wife, partners, children?

'Starmer has to back the next action no matter how wrong it appears'

Do you mean military action?

'Then when we win power do a Blair'

Bosnia/Kosovo but not Iraq I assume?

Indeed, though it actually goes much deeper than that.

And I am guilty of it.

And we wonder why the Tories keep winning. The constant insults to anyone who has the termity to vote anything but Labour only good to be derided and sh it on.

Labour = 2:1 or a First and Guardian

All others : not worth it

Just where are the insults that you refer to? I've read through to your first contribution and there are none. However, the way this government is conducting itself in general, and with this jumped up little pipsqueak of a man feeling empowered to threaten the head of the armed forces with the wrath of an unelected bureaucrat, I believe that come the next GE, any amount of insult and name calling is fine if it is directed at those who express the desire to reelect them.
