Made me wonder whether he would have been better going somewhere where he would get game time. Tav looks every inch the PL player but Cam Archer just looked like an afterthought "lets see if the kid can do something" type of sub. Barely had a kick.

Archer is someone who will always need service. But give him that service and we’ve seen he can be deadly.

Tav is so good though. He’s perfect for the PL. Gutted he’s doing so well and it’s not with us but little Bournemouth.

Archer has missed quite a few huge chances for them so I think they were getting a bit fed up with him already. My thing is I'd rather play someone who is getting in positions to score than someone who isn't, seems a lot of fans would rather someone wasn't seen to be missing big chances even if they aren't scoring either.

Tavernier was excellent last night, and seems to be really enjoying playing for them. He had a smile on his face every time he was on screen last night.

Definitely. Tav would probably play in McGree's position in Carrick's system.

He wouldn't play in the midfield 2.

Both quality players and solid PL standard.

We were sniffing around him when he was at Bristol City I believe. Never really close as far as I could tell but would have been a great signing nonetheless.
