Since playing for Villa it's like he's a completely different player to the one that's been playing for Man United for the last 2 to 3 seasons. I get the feeling Mason Mount when fit, will be do similar.

My biggest issue with Rashford has always been that he isn't a team player. He's very much a heads down, get the ball and drive towards goal sort of player. When it works it looks great but when it doesn't it's frustrating for everyone because there are better options. He seems to be doing that less at Villa and that's why he's looking good. There was obviously clashes with the managers at Utd so he wasn't putting his full effort in as well. He's never lacked talent, just application/motivation. Seems like Emery has got him enjoying his football, he's not expected to be the spearhead and he's got some great attacking players around him.

Stormed onto the scene much like Rooney did but unlike Rooney he didn’t have extra skills like tacking and heading to make him more effective or powerful.

Now his just another good winger not necessarily anything more than that.

Ok he’s been a nice team player at Villa but once his loan deal is done I can’t see him getting permanent deal as he’s too expensive and maybe too old. I reckon Arsenal could use someone like him but perhaps he should climb down off his pedestal, take a massive wage cut and join Danny Welbeck at Brighton.

Man Utd at this point are a black hole for talent. They are harming the reputation of players, managers, directors of football, marginal gain weirdos.

Anyone with any sense should run very fast and very far from Man Utd. Preferably with a mammoth severance payout in the bank of course.

Emery's given him a new lease of life and you can see he is enjoying his football. He links up with Watkins and Morgan well and as created plenty of opportunities for his teammates. I wouldn't be surprised to see in back in the England squad, he certainly offers more than Anthony Gordon does.

It helps when he isn’t spaffing £k’s on Poker with his inner circle of friends each week. Sir Jim is correct when says the best thing that could happen is Rashford getting the hell away from Manchester.

Glad to see Rashford back playing football with a smile.

I don’t think Mason Mount will recover fully from these injuries he’s been having for the last couple years or so.

Mason Mount was never that good. He only got the recognition because he played for Chelsea.

I’m not sure that’s fair really. Was Chelsea’s player of the year two seasons in a row, the only player to do that apart from Eden Hazard, the youngest Chelsea player to ever get double figures for goals and assists in one season and was instrumental in the team that won the Champions League, probably the highlight being scoring a goal and setting up another against Real Madrid at the Bernabau in the Quarter Final of the Champions League.
Apart from that he was rubbish.😄

Rashford at his best is brilliant from the left. Just seems he lost his way at Man United and who can blame him.

Man Utd’s recruitment has been bizarre to say the least.. they’ve dropped off their perch and now are playing 2nd fiddle to Villa. Forest & Newcastle are a more attractive prospect now..

Wasted millions by trying to cut corners.

They should have been straight in for Pep after Fergie.. maybe Fergie wasn’t too keen!

I think Ole Gunnar Solskjær was probably their best bet.. he wanted to sign Haarland for £4m for them and got knocked back.

Agree with the others saying it must be the culture at Manchester United doing something to the players. McTominay also has done really well since leaving, I thought he always did okay at Man U but seemed like the fans thought he wasn’t good enough for them. Even Antony looks so much better after leaving.

Yeah but this is Fly Me, where some posters possess knowledge far beyond any footballing professionals
