Manchester Airport

I am replying as we will be using it in 3 weeks time (although I said before, never again using this hell hole!) and need parking
 
Could potentially have a look at parking near the closest MET stop and then hopping on the MET to the airport. Think the closest stop would be Heald Green, may need to have a look at suitable parking places nearby mind.

Ppl who live there really don't need more traffic and cars being parked outside local facilities and their homes for extended periods of time. There is ample space and convenient shuttle services from the jet parks. Traffic and parking is a complete shocker in the local residential areas
 
I've used APH for years. You get discount if you use the code MARKS (for M&S staff).

But sometimes, the on site Man Airport operated key drop parking (meet and greet) is actually almost as cheap. And the lack of fuss, proximity to the terminal, makes it an attractive proposition.

Using the APH website often brings that up as a cheap option.

If you're flying from the new Terminal 2, then there's a multi-story adjacent to it and you can more or less walk straight into the departure hall.
 
BigRig, National Express (NE)are expanding their business due to the poor quality of the rail services. My wife uses the NE coaches from Boro Bus Station to Manchester regularly, and has just had an email advising that they're now doing airport routes for £6 per person each way. Check it out.
