Man City v Liverpool

Grealish, the man isn’t worth £10million.

wasn’t impressed by either team to be honest

City really should have been out of sight after 45 mins. City will be the happier though as it is still in their hands.

Liverpool ,a team of cloggers. The ref was very lenient, both Arnold and Fabinho should have had yellows and then committed poor fouls afterwards.

That was a game that swung back and forth. City definitely had the better of the first half, but I'd say Liverpool shaded the second.
As bad as some of the defending looked, there was some great movement and passing that exposed the high line that both teams adopted.

Over the 90 (or at least what I saw of it) I thought City created the most chances and could, perhaps should, have been further ahead at half time. After Liverpool equalised I never really thought that they would go on to win it. Liverpool were definitely the more cynical of the two teams and earlier yellow cards might have changed the result because both Fabinho and Thiago were repeat offenders until they got booked.

A good game to watch though. You've got to think City will go on to win the title now.

A team of cloggers. Wow, hate to think how you rate us.

How leanient was the ref with Liverpool players thiago made 4 stonewall bookable challenges. I wouldn't call them cloggers but they are cynical in the extreme fabinho another gets away with dreadful challenges on a regular basis
