Macaulay langstaff - us and coventry

Watching the video - I would say ML can talk as well as score o_O

A lot of Teesside traits in him and I like his confidence.

20 goals in 28 games this season is very good going and he seemed quite young for a 26 year old.

Mullen has only 10 goals this season.

Mullen has had a punctured lung

From a county fan on x just now

Gone Boro - was very last minute from them hence why it hasn’t been announced yet. I hope I have egg on my face come tomorrow but yeah 😒

Langstaff's it looks like. Although I dunno when he did that. Could have been a week ago for all I know.

Is this deleted account the lad who posted it or Langstaff's Twitter account?

Langstaff's, though I was looking for it earlier in the day and it wasn't there, so it might just be over all those tweets about Sunderland.

I'm not expecting him here.

* No rumble of Langstaff departure. Not even “late” news.

We have completed the signing of Gambian forward Alassana Jatta for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance and visa approval.

The 25-year-old has agreed to join us on a two-and-a-half year deal from Danish top-flight side Viborg, for whom he scored 21 goals in 103 appearances – the last of which coming against reigning champions FC Copenhagen.

Born in the Gambia, Jatta stands at 6ft 4” and Richard Montague, who sits on our board and leads on recruitment, is pleased that the club has won the highly competitive battle for his signature.

He said: “We’re really excited about the qualities Alassana will bring to our forward line in terms of his stature, pace, and power.

“We also feel he has the energy and willingness to press relentlessly from the front, something we demand from all our forwards.

“With our owners, Chris and Alex Reedtz, being involved at Viborg we also have an excellent insight into his character and therefore know he has conducted himself in a thoroughly professional, positive and hard-working manner throughout his time there.

“We rate the Danish league highly, and have been impressed with how he’s performed at the top level over the last three seasons. So we think he can be very effective for us in League Two and at a higher level in the future.

“Viborg play in a relatively similar way to us, so we feel Alassana can make a quick adaptation to life at Meadow Lane and add fresh impetus to what is already a highly potent attack.

“We also know that he turned down another very attractive move to join us, which highlights his enthusiasm for the club and the ambitions we’ve outlined to him.”

Jatta will remain in Denmark until his UK visa is finalised.

New Manager.
Just tackling the defensive colander.
Langstaff hardly had a sniff this season, but now receiving the ball from midfield - with new imports replacing old heads.
Risky asking a man whose never played in the football league, to sustain Championship standard with intent to gain promotion to the Premiership. Vardy is one of the rare exceptions. Langstaff is a gifted lad, but one has to ask why he was never picked up by any league club until Notts got him promoted into the Fourth Division.
