Luton away

Just been to a Teams meeting.
We will get only 1000 tickets - unreserved seating. That means 10 % less than reserved seat capacity.
I said only problems last year were people struggling to find empty seats. I asked if they could discuss at Luton if the tickets could bd reserved. It would give us another 100 or so and be no pronlems finding a seat. Unreserved seems to be their policy.
You need a home counties postcode and buying history to get in home ends. Obviously Luton fans will be just as eager as us to attend.
I asked aftrer game if blocking off streets around our cosches to please communicate with us.
But last year there weren't real problems. No reason to think it will be any different this time.

Unreserved seating is terrible. If it's sold out you end up with loads of people unable to find a seat. Then theres loads of aggro because the stewards try to get everyone to sit down, with people being unable to find anywhere to sit. its just a stupid needless ballache.

Either give people seat numbers, or expect to have everyone standing in the isles. Giving people aggro for a fault of their own making is typical of the s***y way in which football supporters are treated.

If only 1000 available and about 100 already gone to away season ticket holders plus whatever they hold back for other "priority" reasons, it's going to be a bit of a scramble despite being on a Monday night. 😞

There won't be many other tickets held back on a Monday I don't suppose but yes they are going to sell out very quickly indeed. We never seem to get them on a Saturday afternoon kick off do we. TV intervened for Jonathan Woodgate's first match on a Friday night. Then we were beaten midweek as one of Neil Warnock's final matches in charge.

Unreserved seating is OK if there are plenty of free seats, but not when every seat is sold. Surely everyone can see that?

Example families with children need to sit together?

Yep theoretically it helps people to sit together, but when it's sold out it can make it much harder

Presumably none of the seats and rows have lettering and numbers on them.
Seats are numbered. Pretty sure they havr to be.
I heard about problems from another away club earlier in the season that is how I realised they were all unreserved as a policy
