24th Feb at the cinema, 10th March on Netflix. Soooo excited even though I am still **** scared of what's under my bed 🤣🤣🤣

What year did originality die again?

BTW nothing against the show as I liked it - just that they go back to the same characters over and over again instead of creating something new.

I've never seen Luther but the trailer for this new one look interesting.
Do you think I'll be able to watch it as a stand alone or will I have to watch all of the previous series as well?

Should be ok to watch as a stand alone IMO

His past misdemeanours are the only thing that`s brought up from the past.

Just finished watching this after previously watching the Luther series.
I don’t normally watch Netflix movies because they’re normally shyte
This fits into the same bracket, shyte.

Got half way through it last night before heading to bed. Not a patch on the earlier ones for me, format feels a bit tired now.

I enjoyed the TV series, but I'll wait to watch the film till I've seen Ruth Wilson reading "Beowulf" accompanied by the BBC Symphony Orchestra next week. Far better writing I imagine.

I was quite late to Luther. Some of it was really good.

This was not great. Easy watching for a Saturday night though for me.

I think you know what you're getting when a series gets to this point. Must be fairly hard to keep things fresh at this point.

Cant think of many gritty series that managed to keep pulling series after series of quality. 24 was fairly consistent but still had a few poor series.
