I think that was to cover the current relatively short term injury crisis though wasn't it? Basically it's pointless signing players to cover for injured players who'll be fit in weeks. Which wouldn't apply to cover for Smith. That's how I understood it anyway.Michael Carrick specifically said that we wouldn't sign players to address the injury crisis but only as part of a long term strategy when asked on t' radio
Spence is just back from injury and now strarting.Ayling has made twice as many appearances as Spence this season.
I honestly don't think he is better than either Dijksteel or Smith. He’s way better than any of our full backs, even at 32 and past his best
I’m not sure he is the miss you say he is.Everybody wrote off Smith when we signed him. Then, when he got injured, they realised how much we miss him.
Can we tolerate this thoughWould increase the man bun contingent
Smith has been a really good player for us, miles better than Dijksteel. Not even close really.I’m not sure he is the miss you say he is.
I’m sure Dijksteel is better - just injury prone
He didn't have the bun yesterday, just tied back. Can we tolerate this though
