Luke Ayling interview

Reminds me of George Friend - You would be happy to have him with you in the trenches.

As said before feels like a good signing for the second half of this season with Lenihan out.
 
I read this today.......

Explaining the decision to let him join Boro, Leeds boss Farke. "With Luke it was a special situation, I spoke a lot about my public admiration for him and us as a group. You definitely want to keep a player like Luke Ayling. You want to have him as a human being in the group.

Sounds exactly what we need. I've not heard one negative thing about him. Absolutely loved at the Dirtys.
 
Fair play, if he's that well loved at Leeds then hopefully he'll be just as loved with us.

He might be able to get something out of Greenwood too with a bit of luck.
 
Clearly seemed uncomfortable being interviewed in front of the camera. I imagine i would feel the same.

We are interested in him for his football and not his media skills. Just hope he doesnt take too long to get to match sharpness as he stressed he hasnt played much. We need him to be able to hit the ground running with our injuries.

He's started 8 games this season, so it's not like he's been sat on the bench for an eternity, hopefully he should be okay.

Obviously he's older, but he's missed less football than some of our injured players this season.

How did he seem uncomfortable? Thought he done well. Can’t be easy when you have a stammer.
