Luke Ayling interview

Just watched the interview really like what he was saying we do need that experience in a young squad esp at the back.

Brave to do it as well

I know we all love to hate Leeds and they're somewhat a rivalry, but see the pouring of respect, admiration and love from a fanbase who's affection is pretty hard to gain says everything you need to know about the man.
I welcome him with open arms and look forward to seeing him don our red and white!

even as a pessimist, i have high hopes for him. For far too long we have been too easy to play against and been bullied by mediocre teams who are physical.

Cant wait to hear the revitalised chants of "Get inot em, fuk em up" like we heard on Tuesday after a long long time.

Ahhh flares on a Thursday.....

Think he'll make an immediate positive impact, from a leadership perspective we've probably missed our two biggest talkers in Lenihen and Smith.

Leeds fans I know reckon his legs are going a bit, sometimes struggles to get back when he rampages forward, but playing behind Jones should mitigate that a bit, Jones'll help him out there.

this 100%

It has been noticeable the last few weeks that no one seems to be taking responsibility for setting and holding the back line. We get caught out with some pushing forward in a high line, but 1 or 2 hanging back playing the man onside. Hopefully Ayling can sort that out.

If he hits the ground running, could be a good signing on a free in the summer.

Carrick doesn’t fancy Dijksteel so could offload him for £500k or something like Bola

Yeah I have a stutter. He knows the word isn't going to come out before it happens... so he's able to force the "like" out and then continue his sentence.
If he does another interview (or if you listen to that interview again), there's probably a split second pause before most "likes"... That pause is him realising he's about to stutter and changing his word.

It's the first time I can remember seeing Ayling and not wanting to thump him.

He came across very well and good luck to him in our shirt.

Fantastic interview. That takes massive bravery when you’re someone not perfect with the spoken word. His actions on the pitch say more than anything. It’s great to have him here.

I think it’s becoming very clear that we have signed an exceptional induvidual here.

Leeds have just released 2 videos, one being his farewell message which is 10 mins long and you can clearly see how emotional he is..

the other is only slightly shorter and is a farewell from all his team mates .. I know it’s an awful lot of Leeds to take in but they’re worth a watch

i can’t think of many other players that have had that sort of send off from a club.

Leaving Leeds is obviously a massive deal to him so I think he will need our support and make sure he knows how welcome he is then we can hopefully reap the rewards
