This is a horrendous story and I feel for those whose lives have been torn apart.

I don’t understand where they explain she was only allowed to work day shifts because they had suspicions about the fact babies were dying when she was working nights. Bloody hell if you have suspicions surely you suspend her and investigate!

Someone already posted a thread about this earlier.

Horrible read and no doubt a horrible trial for all families involved.

I've been reading about this too. Horrific.

Not seen / read about a lot of actual evidence yet. Only circumstantial?

Strip back the emotions/ horror of what is being accused and it all seems odd to me

It reads like some sort of variation on Munchausen by proxy syndrome. Killing those poor defenceless babies and then trying to insert herself into the families grief, truly frightening and horrific!

Every single parents nightmare. it is so gut churning to think that there could be human beings capable of something so evil against pure innocent little babies.
Those poor families.

I can only hope that she is actually innocent of all charges and that the children died from natural causes.
As said above, its not healthy for society that she is plastered across all news sites to be judged before the trial has ended.

I wish this is true mate, it’s cases like these that makes me lose all faith In humanity that somebody could do such a thing.

She is extremely twisted in a way I thought only existed in horror movies.
I don't think even horror movie writers could come come up with something so twisted and sick. Even if they did it would never see a movie set.

I see some news sites have reported on a confession note she has written. Made my stomach turn and appreciated my kids a little bit more than usual today.

Glad I'm not on the jury. Really feel for those who are.

Can you imagine if the evidence casts any doubt on what happened? Of course to convict it has to be "beyond all reasonable doubt". Can you imagine thinking, for example, that she's "probably" guilty but being unable to convict because "probably" isn't enough?

Really tough. Not sure it's entirely fair putting untrained members of the public in that position, but I don't know what the alternative could be.

I found that rather irresponsible reporting. When you read the full story she had written dozens of these notes, some of which said "I'll never marry or have children" and "I haven't done anything wrong" but it makes for click bait. It's hard to imagine that anyone could such things without being in some way disturbed or unwell. I'm just glad not to be on that jury.
I agree with you. Obviously the letter I alluded to is going to get more eyes on the story as a whole which can be a good and bad thing.
