London: Chris Kaba

Calling the cop a white tory is hardly a rational opinion , more like the ramblings of a twisted mind
Oh, I'm not defending him - it's a very leftfield comment - just pointing out he's not a troll.

And fingers crossed, justice will be served whatever happened. We all have our opinions, but in a court of law it's facts that count👍

Problem is, both 'sides' are making assumptions and insinuations about the other.
- He must have deserved it
- He usually carried a gun
- He was up to something
- He's a racist tory
- There was no justification
- It was premeditated
- He's a watch thief

In actual fact, until the trial, very few facts are known.

Let’s end the thread with Kaba’s relatives,
Helen Lumuanganu. (Mother) and his Dad and family.

With respect to police officers killed and injured in action, let’s sort out any corrupt, misogynist, racist, bigoted Met stations/ officers.

And flush the Charlie and sh*t weed down the effin’ boggo
which goes to fund these corrupt practices

What a stupid post!

“Hemming him in without any sirens” is a tactic used by the police, it’s to prevent people having the chance to drive away, because as we know, some people drive like utter lunatics to get away from the police with no regard at all for the general publics safety.

As for “he was going nowhere”. They wouldn’t have been concerned about him getting away. They would have been concerned about getting shot.

I’m lost for words regards to some of the $hit posted on here!

All well and good Cress, but we don't know if any of those things relate to this case or to this officer. It helps no-one to suggest that they do.

Strange behaviour for someone who must have conducted the vast majority of his (or her) entire life in a lawful way to then decide that as he/she doesn’t like a certain ethnic group(s) that they would then kill a person.

And after making such a strange decision , they would then make an even stranger decision - to do it whilst on duty (and therefore surrounded by police officers / body worn cameras and dash cams) meaning that they would certainly then serve decades in prison for doing so.

There's a lot of assumptions being traded as fact on here.

Unless someone can enlighten me I've not seen a detailed description of the events that led to the shooting, including the intelligence that led to the car being stopped by armed police?

I hope some of the posters on here are never called for jury service, given the apparent prejudice of their views, because some people seem to find it difficult to keep an open mind to all the information we do know.

What implications will this have for armed officers now.
They may decline to undertake armed duties.
That’s my point I think after this a few will

Looks like you were right.

IIRC the government intervened after the Borough Market terror attack, which was heading much the same way as the Kaba case.

I say that without any prejudice or to infer the CPS decision regarding the Kaba shooting is wrong in any way, I'm neutral on that issue.

But the law is clear, but often more difficult to apply practically; any level of force used has to be justifiable and necessary in the circumstances and the police officer concerned has to have held a reasonable belief that that is the case.

Seems straightforward, but it's open to a fair degree of subjectivity.
