Lewandowski as close to the perfect striker

When comparing the two I think it can’t be overlooked that Lewandowski has played all of his football in an inferior league against inferior players.

But also he has only ever played for the best and 2nd best team.

Still couldn’t pick between the two though personally.

Be interesting to see how good he would be in the Premier League. Germany doesn't really have many quality teams. Even Dortmund have fallen off the pace in recent times but you can only perform against the opposition in front of you and he is a goal machine.

That’s debatable.

how many times have bundasliga clubs done well in Europe.
Well over the last 20 years or so I’d say Bayern have done well and Dortmund have done reasonably well.

But that’s my point, he’s only ever played for them in the Bundesliga so pretty much every domestic game he has played he’s been on the better team.

Whereas Kane will usually play roughly 10 games per season against superior teams.

If a gun was put to my head, I'd pick Lewandowski, but there's very little in it.

And as for Kane's creative numbers and assists, personally I don't think Lewandowksi would get close to those figures in this league, however I still think he'd score bucket loads.

Lewondowski is a better striker than Kane and he is probably a better striker for the same reason Kane has more assists. He doesn't drop deep to get involved and does the job he is there to do.

Kane is pretty good but he had a poor game last night but for one touch.

Lewandowski, Kane, Lukaku, Haaland - the four best out and out #9 type strikers in the world. For me Lewandowski's form over the last 18 months or so just nudges him ahead of the rest but very little between them imo.
