We have one of those soup makers, where you just cut it up roughly and chuck it in. Butternut squash and Chilli, served with a whole fresh beetroot in the middle(takes the heat away)

Carrot & Coriander
Pea & Ham from ham shank and dumplings.
Soft Noodle.

Used to love me Mam's homemade chicken and vegetable soup especially with a large helping of bread and butter
Made some parsnip and carrot soup at Christmas, that was decent.
Outside that I like some of the big pots of soup from Sainsbury's esp the Moroccan chicken one.
