If you ever think we have been a failure in the transfer market in recent years then console yourself with the fact that it wont be anywhere near as bad as Everton Football Club.

wow that's over 350mill of 'talent' of which maybe Pickford and Keane have shown some return having been regulars for a few seasons. But probably not quite to the 30mill level.
 
You could probably draw up a similar list (in length and financial cost) of players the likes of Manchester United and Livervool have wasted money on over the years but they get away with it because they have so much cash they can afford it. But, yeah, Everton are the parasites of the Premier League.
 
Yes and for that investment and where they are now is just a massive failure. At least Man U make Europe although yes they are misspending massively as well.
 
Theres a lot of money wasted there but also some decent signings.

Obvs Gomes had a bad injury. That’s always going to happen to some players.

It's difficult to say, he can be brilliant, but he's also got a few gaffs in him. He is more vital to England and how they play than to Everton. He could probably be replaced with a better keeper for them, for 30mill
 
Bolasies team are adrift at the bottom 6 points from safety with just 1 win all season

Britts team are ninth despite the ridiculous investment in Britt and Balotelli. Britt has his 5 goals so far, looks set to get his customary 14 goals. Which is probably good enough for that team in that league
 
Steve Walsh the previous DoF at Everton before the present incumbent was mentioned as an architect of all the bad signings. He was the guy at Leicester who unearthed Mahrez, Kante and Vardy. What a fall from grace.
