Let's stop dragging negative threads up eh?

I think it can be funny when posters come on with a preachy tone telling us all what should/shouldn't be done, who should or should not be playing, who will "not be a footballer as long as they have..." etc. if only we could all see their expert opinion and hail them as the football guru that they see in the mirror. It is even funnier when they refuse to acknowledge their own failing and double down with personal insults.

Feckwits gonna feckwit.

No. My favourite threads are the "dragged up" ones. I love reading the views of all the experts.
I like reading the views of the posters who have the balls to go against the sheep, baa, and their negativity, bravo!!
And I particularly like to read the outdated views of the sheep who all jump on the negative bandwagon of an OP and proved to be, well, sheep. Baa.

For most people it’s a bit petty. But enjoyed the indeedio one brought up today just for the fact he acts like he’s the font of all knowledge. Might make him act a little less know all in future. But I doubt it.

No problem with it. we have so many experts on here who are happy to expound their views, telling us mere mortals why they are experts, so when they are shown to be speaking nonsense then fair enough if it's brought back up again, and again, and again. If you are going to post your views then you should expect them to be challenged, especially when they are proven to be spectacularly wrong - (Carrick; SERIOUSLY) springs to mind.
If you don't want your ignorant and ill-informed views shot back at you, don't post them in the first place. Or maybe be a bit more measured, then you won't look like a chod...

Nah, keep doing it, it’s pretty funny 😁

And shows who really knows their football!

For instance I was bang on about Morocco being good at the World Cup, totally wrong about Argentina and totally totally wrong about Riley McGree 😂

Pearls of wisdom that turn out to be pure dog turds.

I think it's hilarious. It's the banter that I most enjoy with my mates.

If you are prepared to criticise others for having a different pov then expect it to be royally reminded when you are wide of the mark.

Any of the 'Wrong to ditch Wilder Brigade still around' ?

The thing is almost everyone on this board is right and wrong about different things. It’s only the ones who claim they know more than everyone else that look like wallies when they’re wrong. Everyone on this board is fanatical (in a way) about football, no one is completely clueless, it’s just different opinions. Unless you’ve made money from playing or coaching the sport you are nothing, I’m afraid (very much including myself).

Although I do agree, Lemmy clearly has something to hide 😂

Maybe we could have some end of year fmttm awards for worst and best predictions

There's been some beauties in 2022 of the top of my head

Wilder best manager in championship barr none

Dip in form nothing to do with Burnley link

Fry not good enough for first 11 but Clarke is

Griezman wouldn't get in a combined England France team

Messi finished

I remember when people were dragging up threads from the summer about Steffen and Lenihan, where they had been praised as great signings, while we were playing cr@p under Wilder. Funny how things turn out.
