I think he’s fine. They both have the freedom to go where they want and the box midfield is helping us get more possession.Bellingham is slightly out of position now though

True, about possession but it impacts his ability to really run the game from his favoured position….I think he’s fine. They both have the freedom to go where they want and the box midfield is helping us get more possession.
I'm haven't warmed to him as a person if i'm honest. Mostly due to his body language on the pitch. There's a lot of gesticulating at other players when something he does doesn't work, that kind of thing. He's clearly an immensely talented player that's played his part in helping England to where they are but i'd say there's a lot more to come from him as it stands.I think it would benefit him to get rid of the Real Madrid swagger and put some graft in, you can’t coast through matches no matter how good you are.
I think you are taking what I’ve said the wrong way, you’re implying that I think he’s rubbish. I’ve talked at length about how the Spanish league is at the lowest level it’s been in a couple of decades, yet Real Madrid strengthen every year while the other sides get weaker, the gap is growing each year.Bellingham has been one of the best players in Germany and has just been named the best player in Spain, yet you think it’s not as good as others think.
The evidence shows the lad is outstanding. Even at the end of the season, not quite 100% fit, he is still making moments for England, and standing up to be counted.
Totally agree with that part. Him playing 10 at Real Madrid definitely influenced Southgate. I doubt the formation would have changed from 4-3-3 if Bellingham was playing 8 in Madrid like he did for Dortmund.Nobody really expected him to be playing 10 for R Madrid before this season started so I think that’s part of the problem with England, people expect goals and his attributes are stronger in other positions.
I'd have probably just left the negative posts for another dayI would have started a thread about Kane before Bellingham, personally.

At least one where we haven't just reached our first final on foreign soil and enjoyed one of the greatest nights watching footie. I just don't get the clamour for negativity all the time even at such a joyous moment. People just always looking for something to be negative about. Genuinely think that even if we win it there will be a good proportion of people struggling to enjoy it simply because of their pre-existing views on Southgate.Which day is convenient?
Absolutely this.At least one where we haven't just reached our first final on foreign soil and enjoyed one of the greatest nights watching footie. Anyway not looking for an argument. Feeling too positive for that

This thread isn’t a clamour for negativity mate, it’s discussing a player who’s an integral part of out tournament. At least one where we haven't just reached our first final on foreign soil and enjoyed one of the greatest nights watching footie.
