Leo speaks

IF we started winning under Leo you couldn't get a more popular appointment to get the fans in the stands.

Leo Percovich or Gary O'Neil - talk about chalk and cheese.

Loved his quote yesterday, "we're not a sports franchise, we're Middlesbrough", this man is solid gold inspiration. We probably need more that passion to manage the team but I bet that influence will be worth a lot more than poncing around at the back safely safely. Lets get at em Leo!

Cheered me right up that has. Nearly went looking for my boots with a yes boss on my lips and I'm past 60.
If he gets that across in the dressing room in the short term we should be fine giving upstairs a proper chance to make sure this time the recruitment of a manager/head coach whatever is the right one.

On a side note i wonder what the general situaton is with Leo and MFC.

I almost get the feeling that its a "job for life" agreement between him and gibbo. Or until Leo decides to call it a day.

I think from Gibbos point of view, a mixture of his love for the club, the fans affection for him, and the personal tragedy he's going through means that Gibbo just wants him around the place however long he wants to be.
I genuinely hope that’s the case. Would also remind us of the greatness and integrity of Mr S Gibson

I think that was from a few yrs ago when Woodgate brought him back wasn't it?

No matter who comes in. I'm praying for a Boro win tomorrow evening. I'd say even a win with a 'swagger' and a few goals.

It would be great to see Leo sign off with a win (or two) as a Boro manager👌

I remember us beating Doncaster 4-0 after Mowbray got sacked, think it was Mark Venus in charge. I’m desperate for something similar to that tomorrow but let’s be honest we’d all take a scruffy 1-0.

It was emotional, passionate and inspirational, but not managerial. I think he’s happy to have the job temporarily

Wilder might have had tactical nous, but if the opposition don’t know we’re Middlesbrough where’s that going to get you?

I’ve heard Pep’s approach is similar, but he goes one step further and makes sure the opposition know they have the best fans in the world. Klopp meanwhile makes sure when his players walk through a storm they are never alone.
