Leeds want Tav

Actually think he would really suit Bielsa's style of play and he would no doubt improve. Got a great engine and continually on the move, if coached when/how to make those moves more effectively (both with and without the ball) I think his game would improve significantly.

That said I anticipate Wilder will do a similar job with him at Boro.

I think the issue with Warnock is that he didn't set teams up in that way - there either wasn't a strict plan of movement/pressing/runs OR the man marking system focused too much on following the opposition, which arguably benefits defensive minded players but can hold attacking players, such as Tav, back.

I'd be astounded if we get £20m for him mind.

anything above 12m and he is gone.

He is good but not irreplaceable. Put it this way it would be a significantly less costly sale than Bamford to Leeds.

Same people saying he’s not a PL player probably said the same about Bamford. He’s still learning by gaining experience of different situations but is still our best player by a stretch

I think Woodgate knew, he's a midfielder for sure, not a wide player.

I really do think Wilder's style will suit him to a tee.
Agree. He's a box to box CM. Would like to see him get a run of games there. He's done well wherever he's played for tge most part but seems to be trying too hard atm. Needs to nail down that CM position tho and make it his own.

Given the majority opinion of Tav on here, it was surely only a question of time a bigger club would come in for him. We will always sell to EPL clubs - not simply the ‘big’ clubs but the Burnley, Villa, Palace type clubs will always take our rising stars. Anything north of £12 million would be impossible to resist IMHO

If this lad could get a new pair of boots and hit the target more often, then he would be a serious, serious player.
He isnt far off, at the moment, but he needs to score more goals. If he does then the sky's the limit

Tav’s great, and you can see with more experience and more coaching that he’s not far away from it really “clicking”, and then he’ll be a proper player.

I think it’s not so much about people wanting to get rid of him as recognising our level atm.

If someone offered £20m, then we could probably get more value out of that than what we’re getting out of Tav on the pitch at the moment.

He’s not putting in performances like Adama where he’s by far our best and most important player and essential to any chance we have of getting promoted. Realistically for finances, £20m might let us bring in 5 good Championship players. If we’re going to become a Brentford, developing young players, then we’ll have to get used to selling high as well as buying low.

As ever it’s up to the player really, if Tav wants to go and someone wants to pay great money I’d let him. For the record I really hope he stays and we get promoted with him, but I also wouldn’t call him our best player - maybe the one with the most potential though.
