Well early doors Matterface had to apologise for some of the robust language in the ground. Primarily in a stirring rendition of 'your support is phucking 5hit' that you could barely hear the commentary over.

So we only have ourselves to blame for them knocking the mics in our corner back a bit.

You could still hear us if you kept an ear out though.

Dixon is a complete moron, unbelievable how his ilk keep getting air time.

Nearly every other country employs intelligent, literate commentators but not the UK - we value the thoughts of someone who, despite playing the game (albeit over 20 years ago) has absolutely no idea what the rules of it are.
 
I don't think it was just Lee Dixon who was so downbeat about us scoring and then winning, Ian Wright was the same, hardly got a mention on BBC and I was listening to TalkSport last night as they played an opening montage of every single game from the weekend... guess which one they missed out?

Ian Wright has, in the past referred to Middlesbrough as "where the sun don't shine". Adding meteorology to his expert subjects. Then we learn that he has been giving careers advice to Djed Spence.
I don't dislike him but it's just the way these 'experts' are indulged by the media.
