Apparently we’re being linked with this guy who is the Hearts striker. He has scored shed loads in the SPL including 28 last year and he is apparently available for £4 million.
Does anyone know anything about him.
My only concern would be whether he would be able to do it in the Champo. Gordon Strachans buys proved their is a gulf in quality between the Scottish Prem and the EFL.

I've just got a natural fear of any SPL CF. We've been burned. Also many of the 20 goal ones end up in the champo and hardly ever replicate the same figures.
 
Not as good a striker as Forss for me, everything considered. I think if we sign a striker this window it'll be a young player with potential possibly Al-Hamadi from Wimbledon?.
 
SPL is Division 1 standard - I would not pay £4m a Division 1 striker unless he was exceptional.

Langstaff has already got 20 goals in Division 2 - showing last year was not a fluke. He would be worth a punt in my opinion say £500k plus lots of add on for Notts County. I know he is nearly 27, but looks to be a late developer. If he didn't work out I am sure there would be plenty of interest to sell him because of his goal record, as long as he was fit. I believe he is from Stockton and is a Boro fan so no settling in issues or complaining about the cold weather. 71 goals in his last 81 games is Camsellisque.
